Uganda Mabira Forest Zip-lining

Uganda Mabira Forest Zip Lining

Posted on November 14, 2022

Enjoy and explore the Mabira Forest canopy with Wanderlust Adventures’ Uganda Mabira Forest Zip Lining experience. The Uganda Mabira Forest zip lining experience will carry you above the tallest jungle trees in this rainforest.

Seekers of adventure and adrenaline experiences during a volunteering safari in Uganda can get such an experience at griffin falls camp in Mabira forest which is located just 1 hr 4 min (35.2 km) via Kampala–Jinja Hwy from our Kyampisi Backpackers Home.

While high up in the canopy, you will be able to enjoy views of the different forest layers, hear the roaring sound of the griffin falls and mammals like the red-tailed and grey-cheeked mangabeys, birds like the great blue turaco, long-tailed cuckoo, grey parrot, African fish eagle and the palm nut vulture.

The Mabira rain forest zip lining experience is the best in east Africa and it is run by a team of professional and experienced personnel to enable visitors enjoy a remarkable zip lining experience on their Uganda volunteer holiday.

During the zip lining adventure, you are led to pass through ancient trees by experienced Sky Captains / Sky guides across a network of 5 zip-lines that stretches 250 metres across River Musamya. Zip-line activities are done from 8am in the morning to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm daily.

After zip lining, you can hike back to the beautiful Griffin falls camp for mountain biking or proceed to Jinja to continue with our Jinja Experience Tour. Uganda Mabira Zip lining is among the activities you can add to your Jinja Experience Tour.
