The village improvement plan program was established to empower locals to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic and sustainable development of their communities. The program supports diverse projects in rural Uganda.
The program supports youth through skills training and internship modules to transit from a situation of unemployment to that of employment. We arrange community outreaches to do community needs assessment by identifying the strengths and resources available in the community to meet the needs of children, youth, women and families.
The program also empower women with micro-finance, business management skills and financial literacy skills. The idea is simple yet empowering. We deliver literacy and numeracy training on top of life skills programs.
