Join a structured, community-led experience at the Kibiribiri Community Hub in Mukono, Uganda.

For two weeks, you will live alongside the community, support children at a local school, work with mothers building livelihoods, and contribute to the construction of the Namanganga Women’s Centre.

This is not about visiting—it’s about being part of something real.

All activities take place in and around the Kibiribiri Community Hub.

YOUR 2- WEEK EXPERIENCE 

Mornings (Education & Field Work)

  • Support children at Kibiribiri Community School

  • Assist with sports, creative learning, and daily activities

  • Participate in gardening and sustainability work

  • Optional: assist with light construction at Namanganga

Afternoons (Women’s Programs)

  • Work with local women’s groups

  • Support small business and skills development

  • Participate in training, mentoring, and group activities

Evenings

  • Team reflection and discussion

  • Cultural exchange

  • Planning for the next day

Weekends

  • Free time

  • Optional local activities

  • Rest and recovery

This centre will create a dedicated space for:

You will stay at Kyampisi Backpackers Home, close to the community hub.

Your stay includes:
