The Book Project

The Book Project is an initiative aimed at promoting literacy and providing underprivileged children in Mukono district with access to quality educational resources. Together, we can empower children through education and provide them with the tools they need to build a brighter future.

The Book Project

Since its inception, the book project has positively impacted the lives of thousands of children in Uganda. Over 20,000 children have benefitted from our book donations, and the establishment of the community library will create a sustainable source of reading materials within local communities. Furthermore, the library under construction will provide a long-term resource for education.

The Book Project

Through the book project, Ssamba Foundation has donated books to over 50 schools and communities across Uganda. These donations include a wide range of educational materials suitable for different age groups and learning levels.

The Book Project

We are in the process of establishing a community library where children can visit and borrow books for free. This initiative will promote independent learning and encourage children to explore various subjects and genres.

This library will serve as a central hub for educational resources, further promoting literacy and providing a dedicated space for learning. The book project has promoted literacy rates among children in Uganda by providing them with books and fostering a culture of reading.
