For nearly 20 years, supporting the education of orphans and vulnerable children has been one of Ssamba Foundation’s major programs. Through this commitment, we have helped children from disadvantaged backgrounds access education and pursue their dreams.
Each year, the program supports approximately 150โ200 children and young people, from nursery and primary school through secondary school, vocational training, colleges and university.
Many come from vulnerable households. Some are orphans, others are raised by single mothers or families facing difficult economic circumstances. Despite these challenges, they have dreams, talents and the potential to build better futures.
Over the years, many beneficiaries have completed their education and gone on to become nurses, social workers, teachers, carpenters, builders and professionals in other fields. Their journeys remind us why investing in a child’s education matters.
Your Donation Can Keep a Child Learning
Through the Kyampisi Soma Project and Education Fund, we invite individuals, families, businesses, organizations and well-wishers to stand with us and help children access and continue their education.

- School fees: Helping children enrol, remain in school and progress to higher levels of education.
- Education packs: Providing exercise books, pens, pencils and other essential learning materials.
- School bags: Giving children suitable bags to carry their books and school supplies.
- Essential school requirements: Helping meet other costs that may prevent children from attending school.
- Vocational and higher education: Supporting young people pursuing vocational training, college and university education.
